Abstract

A Survey was carried out from Oct. 12 to Nov. 30, 1986, to obtain information on knowledge and attitude of 429 workers toward sex.
As the result of this survey the fallowing conclusions were obtained.
1. General characteristics
78.3% of the respondants was born in a farm village, 41.0% of the respondants was cook for oneself, 70.6% of the respondants was parent exist, 30% of the respondants was drinker or smoker, 45.9% of the respondants was personal history on one year - three years, 70.6% of the respondants was age on twenty - twenty four, 67.4% of the respondants was high school, 42.9% of the respondants was nonreligious.
2. The Knowelege of Sex
Generally most workers admit knowledge about pregnancy more than 99.8%, menarche 99.7%, Ejaculation 93.8%, General diseases 92.3%, Masturbation 60.8%.
3. The attitude of sex
669% of them answered sexual activity is natural, 473% of them the proper exercise of their hobby makes them overcome sexual desire, 18.9% of them sexual experience, 59% of them their virginity should be keep.
4. In the group of smokers and nonsmokers, any significant related with sexual activity, experience and virginity except masturbation have been found. (p < . 01)
5. In the group of ages, no significant related with masturbation has been found. (p > . 05)
6. In the group of educational level, any significant related with sexual activity except masturbation, sexual experience and virginity have been found. (p (. 01)
7. In the group of religion no significant related with masturbation and virginity has been found(p > . 05).
8. In the group of male and female, any significant related with masturbation, sexual experience and virginity except sexual activity have been found. ( p > . 05) My suggestion based on above study is as follows:
1. It is necessary to make comparative study between workers and students.
2. Also it is necessary for the study to extend to nationwide group.
3. The sexual education should be continued despite of ages, educational level, occupation, and any social environments, as a field of long-life education.
4. The establishment of consultants and institution which control sex problem should beasked so that anyone can contact them easing on one¢¥s sex problem.
